Care Jar
At Care Jar, our story begins with Family.
We are parents to three incredible children; J, A and R, who have inspired every part of our journey. Our children live with physical disability, neurodivergence, and the lasting impacts of complex medical experiences. Through navigating health, education, disability supports, and everyday life alongside them, we have developed a deep appreciation for what truly exceptional support looks like, and what it doesn't.
While our personal experiences have shaped our values, our professional backgrounds have equipped us with the knowledge, skills, and leadership to deliver high-quality supports.
Care Jar was created because we believe people deserve more than services. They deserve genuine relationships, thoughtful support, and a team that sees them as a whole person.

The "Test Drive" Policy: You wouldn't buy a car without driving it first, and we believe the same applies to working together! Before we get started, let’s meet in person to ensure we’re the perfect fit for the road ahead.

0% Phone Scrolling: We have all seen support workers glued to their screens instead of paying attention. Care Jar has a strict zero-phone policy. Unless we are actively using a device with you or for your support, our phones stay away. Our focus is 100% on you.

Real Connection: We use a relationship-based approach to care, meaning you get the same consistent worker every time. Keeping the same friendly face allows us to build real trust, understand your unique routines, and work comfortably together. It is always your choice, and we will never change your worker without full consultation.

Care Jar is founded on authenticity, integrity, and a commitment to excellence. We are intentionally building the kind of organisation we would want our own children to receive support from, one where people are known, respected, listened to, and genuinely cared for.
We don't believe support should ever be transactional. We believe it should be collaborative, empowering, and centered around the person's goals, strengths, and choices.

Our Team
Meet Lamb
Lamb has dedicated more than 12 years to supporting young people, individuals, and families experiencing significant adversity. Through her work in therapeutic youth work, case management, community program development and early intervention family support, she has developed a strong foundation in trauma-informed practice, therapeutic crisis intervention, and relationship-based approaches.
Throughout her career, Lamb has built extensive experience in positive behaviour support, crisis management, advocation, staff mentoring, and creating environments where children and young people feel safe, valued, and empowered. She is passionate about applying her knowledge with a proactive approach, using creative thinking to develop tailored, practical solutions that support positive and lasting outcomes.
Lamb's practice is grounded in compassion, consistency, and genuine curiosity. She believes every person has a unique story and values taking the time to understand their experiences, strengths, and needs while building authentic relationships based on trust, respect, and collaboration.
Outside of work, Lamb enjoys spending time with her family, being around animals, exploring the outdoors, gardening, and all things sport and fitness, especially football (soccer). Come on City!
